It was Tyson's birthday weekend.
We started if off by getting massages at Massage Envy that night.
They were wonderful.
We both wish that we were the type of people to go and get weekly massages, but we're not.
We decided we like getting massages from each other better anyways.
It's way more comfortable, being able to lay where you want not having your face smashed up against a "comfortable" face pillow for an hour while having a stranger rub you as you lay there helpless, unable to move or talk.
Okay, those last few sentences made it seem like I didn't enjoy it. I did. Really.
We then ventured off to find dessert. After many long minutes of narrowing down our choices we decided on Applebee's for the pizookie (warm chocolate chip cookie, with ice cream on top, and hot fudge) Luckily for us we made it there just in time for "Saturday Night Karaoke." We watched as person after person attempted to ruin any good song that was ever made. It was really entertaining though.
I don't know what was in that pizookie, but something amazing happened next. Tyson wanted to go up and sing. WHAT?? Yes. He went and signed up, and picked his song.
PART OF YOUR WORLD- THE LITTLE MERMAID
As I sat there and watched my husband sing his little heart out I couldn't have been more proud. He hit every low and high note right on key. It was beautiful...
Okay, so that story might have been a lie. But I wish it wasn't.
Maybe one day I can convince him to sing karaoke at Applebees, and when that day comes it will be great.
Wednesday (Birthday Day) rolled around. I had the day off of work, but birthday boy did not.
As soon as he got home he wanted to open presents and eat some cake!
Now let me tell you what else was that day. The Presidential Debates..I hate politics. And Tyson has all of a sudden become a political follower?! I guess that's what husbands are supposed to do. Well that is not a requirement for wives. I refuse to care. And can I just say Obama is not very good at speaking...? Okay, that's the only political thing I will ever say. Ever. So anyways, after that we got ready for dinner. Again, it was more long minutes of trying to choose where to go. Having two people who are married that both are super easy going and super indecisive can be tough sometimes. You know, like making big dinner decisions.
We ended up going with The Cheesecake Factory.
And it was wonderful.
I don't know why I have a hunchback..
And I don't know why we look so bad in these pictures either..
We left that night very full and very happy. It made us even more happy when we walked outside and it was still 90 degrees and perfect. With music playing and palm trees everywhere. :)
We love it here, and plan to stay FOREVER. Well at least I do.
